The new 6OX MTB Active S-Tube Saddle combines the advantages of the successful saddle models ERGOWAVE and ERGOLUX. As part of the product development, the shape of the saddle was adapted and perfected for use on MTB, E-MTB and Gravity Bikes. The wave shaped 6OX profile which contours from the rear to the front offers a perfect form-fit shape for most sitbones. The raised back section provides more rearward support and ensures efficient power transmission. The grip material on the raised back provides additional support to the rear. In addition, the saddle cover is robust, especially at the edges. The level and lowered saddle nose applies less pressure to the sensitive areas of men and women alike. For an even better pressure relief, especially on long technical climbs, the saddle nose of the 6OX became a little bit wider, but just as flat and with largest possible surface area. The padding was designed for the specific needs of rough off-road terrain. The wave-shaped 6OX profile, which contours from the rear to the front, offers a perfect form-fit shape for most sitbones. The correct width saddle is a prerequisite for maximum performance. The SQlab active-saddle technology lets the saddle follow the pedaling motion as comfort increases, the vertebral discs are mobilized and pressure on the seat bones is minimized. Again, the correct width saddle is a prerequisite for maximum performance. - Area of use: MTB Tech & Trail, MTB Ebike, Gravity - Length (mm): 280 - Weight (g): 270, 280, 285 - Hardness in SQ-shore: 50 - Relief of perineal area (%): 72 - Material Rails: Ti / S-Tube Alloy - Active Technology: 3 different elastomer dampers (can be interchanged) - Max. The weight-optimized 612 Ergowave Carbon Active Saddle was specifically designed to accommodate the requirements of both competitive and leisure cyclists both on the road or mountain bike. At 220g, it's the lightest Ergowave model with active technology. The wave-like shape and raised rear section provides perfect rearward support and an optimal pressure distribution which reaches deep into the body structures for improved power transmission. The lowered nose in combination with the dip provides optimal pressure relief for the perineal area. The flat but slim SQlab MaxContact saddle nose and the firm padding of the 612 were both specifically designed for the needs on the road bike. The SQlab active technology allows the saddle to follow the biomechanical motion when pedaling. This results in increased comfort, mobilization of the spinal discs, and reduced pressure to the sit bones.
